Hotel Constans **** offers 32 spacious rooms that combine the original historical style with current luxurious furnishing and decoration. We can offer double rooms with marriage and separate king size beds, some of them can be joined.

Room equipment:
All rooms are equipped with a bathroom either with shower or a bathtub, bidet and lavatory, minibar, satellite TV and telephone with direct internal line. You can also enjoy apartments with specious balconies. Attic rooms are air-conditioned.

Should you require such additional services as extra bed, cot, half pension, full pension, transfer from both local and international destinations, sightseeing in Prague and across Bohemia, tickets for cultural events, rent a car and many others according to your wish you can ask for them booking your room. If you come to our hotel by car you can use the hotel parking and security system (capacity up to 18 cars).

History:
The first of the 3 houses was founded by the court pâté maker Patrick Urban of Czensaye in 1617. In 1622 Mr. Pettman bought the house, extended it and named it "At Seven Candlesticks". Subsequently the house was heavily damaged during Saxon-Sweden campaign. In 1667 under the circumstances in the Czech kingdom the house was bought by Jan Jindrich Preuner, a court tailor and in 1690 acquired by well-known European painter with a strong influence Vaclav Hranicky and his wife Constans. Constans finally committed the house to her second younger husband Isaak Godini who was a well-known Italian painter of Jewish origin (known as Godini). In 1802 the house received a new owner Josef Dvoran, a member of the lower nobility, and his family. Later on the owners changed very often.
