Hotel Neruda
is an unpretentious a
hotel as you could hope for. Housed in a building built in 1348, it is a comfortable marriage of modernism and classicism.
The Neruda is a small exclusive hotel situated near the entrance to Prague Castle and decorated in a contemporary style with unique design.
It features 20 double rooms, all the rooms being different. Carpets in rooms, dark-wood cupboards and an ochre palette create a pleasant cosiness.
Adding intellectual gravitas, the warm-coloured walls are dotted with quotations from Jan Neruda , the beloved 19th-century Czech poet, writer and journalist who lived in the building for more than 20 years and after whom the street and hotel is named.
